A project of the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), the Buy
Fresh Buy Local campaign works to increase consumer access to fresh,
local produce and increase the transparency of the food system. Stores, restaurants and other retail locations highlight products that are local with the Buy Fresh Buy Local logo . The
campaign also publishes theEater’s Guide to Local Food for multiple
regions throughout California, including the Bay Area, Central Coast,
Humboldt County, San Joaquin Valley, and Southern California. The
guides are distributed to the public free of charge through partner
businesses and green events, and they are available for download atwww.buylocalca.org.
